#PinnacleHealthyPets Love Adventure! #Sponsored

With the cooler weather of fall upon us, my pugs are super excited to get the opportunity to spend more time outdoors. The summer heat is just too much for their flat faces, but they breathe much easier in the cool, crisp air of autumn.

In the past few weeks, the pugs and I have spent quite a bit of time camping, which is one of their favorite activities. It’s in a remote area, so they can have free run, going off leash to explore the grass, mud, and dirt around our camping spot.

Pickles is always excited for an adventure and loves frolicking through the tall grass, sniffing and  searching. Pebbles, however, is not quite as excited. She’s a pretty pampered pooch, so she prefers lounging in the sun and sticking closer to the campsite. She’ll follow Pickles out into the tall grass…at least until she steps in mud. Muddy feet is just something this little girl can’t tolerate!

Though I am cautious about making sure my dogs have good, nutritious food all of the time, it’s especially important when they are spending long hours outdoors–running, playing, and expending lots of energy. At nine years old, my dogs are considered seniors, which makes me want to be especially careful about their food. I want them to be around for many years to come! This is why I choose to feed my dogs a holistic, grain-free diet.

Pinnacle® Holistic Pet Nutrition, manufactured since 1998 in the company’s plant in California, is a nutritious mix of quality ingredients, such as quinoa, sweet potato, pumpkin, sea kelp, and cottage cheese. Pinnacle features a variety of proteins, which is especially important for dogs with sensitive stomachs or allergy issues. In addition to chicken, they offer salmon, duck, trout, and turkey.

The food is made with limited ingredients, high-quality proteins, and is grain free. The natural, healthy recipes taste great, encourage healthy digestion, and promote overall joint health and muscle tone. If you are an ingredient-conscious pet parent, this food is an excellent choice.
