Memebox: Luckybox #6

Luckyboxes are a great introduction to Korean cosmetics and skincare. These boxes are filled with items from previous Memeboxes that were customer favorites. These boxes always provide a great mix of items from the global numbered boxes and special edition boxes. These are also fun for seasoned Memebox veterans because they allow us to get duplicates of some of our favorite products. If you are looking to try something new, give these boxes a try!

Luckyboxes are $23 plus $6.99 shipping to the U.S. Like all other boxes, these are filled with items sourced directly from Korea. This particular box is sold out, but Luckybox #9 is currently available for purchase.

About Memebox Global:

Memebox is not a typical subscription service, with multiple boxes released each month and no obligation to purchase. The boxes released vary, from numbered global boxes to special edition and themed boxes. Prices vary based upon the box purchased, but the global boxes are $23 + $6.99 shipping. Boxes ship to the United States, Canada, Australia, and many other countries.

01. Flower Men Energy Factory Moist Boosting Sheet Mask – Hyaluronic Acid
25 g || Estimated value: $3

Flower Men Energy Factory Moist Boosting Sheet Mask - Hyaluronic Acid

I received this mask in a previous box, but I was still excited because I really love sheet masks. Koreans use sheet masks several times per week. I’m not that faithful, but I do try to do some sort of mask once per week. This mask contains hyaluronic acid to help improve skin’s elasticity, radiance, and smoothness. This will definitely be put to use. I think the packaging is great and made me smile.

02. O& Soap Berry Bubble Cleanser
100 ml || Estimated value: $30

O& Soap Berry Bubble Cleanser

I’ve been kicking myself for not purchasing the Bubble Pop Cosmetics box, so it was nice to get at least a glimpse of those items in this Luckybox. A carbonated cleanser sounds interesting and I really enjoy berry fragrances. The carbonated mineral water is supposed to remove residue, dead skin cells, and sebum. I’ll be trying this one out just as soon as my current cleanser is used up.

03. Mise en Scene 2x Curl Essence
30ml / Full Size: 150 ml  || Estimated value: $2

Mise en Scene 2x Curl Essence

I was so not happy to open the box and see this! I’ve gotten this hair product in three other boxes and it’s not something I can use. The formula is for dry/damaged hair, which is not an issue I am plagued with. I was able to swap the others, so I’ll hang onto this until I find someone that can use it.

04. Gowoonsesang Beyond Young Bling Bling BB Cream
45 ml || Estimated value: $24

Gowoonsesang Beyond Young Bling Bling BB Cream

This BB cream is fantastic. It’s the perfect shade for fair skin and wears beautifully. I would recommend setting it with an HD powder. It’s an SPF 35, so you don’t have to worry about you skin getting burned in the summer sun.

05. Lanoa Natural Sulfur Soap
100 g || Estimated value: $15

Lanoa Natural Sulfur Soap

This is another item I have multiples of. This is a natural sulfur soap infused with shea butter, chamomile, and lavender. It’s designed for sensitive skin and claims to deeply nourish, hydrate, and protect.

06. Hairich Vedacell Hair Program Shampoo
100 ml / Full size: 340 ml || Estimated value: $6.76

Hairich Vedacell Hair Program Shampoo

This shampoo contains no sulfates, silicon, or synthetic dyes; it is made using only natural preservatives. The shampoo is a 4-in-1, which is something I have never heard of! The shampoo has a medicinal smell and the color/texture reminds me a lot of coal tar shampoos that I’ve used in the past. The shampoo is supposed to protect your hair from damage and improve the condition of both hair and scalp.

07. Dr. Jun Savia Magic Count Down 7 Days Naplex5 Ampoule
5 ml || Estimated value: $25

Dr. Jun Savia Magic Count Down 7 Days Naplex5 Ampoule

This ampoule is a thinner consistency than the ones I like most, but I’m interested to see if it really makes a difference in my skin in just 7 days. The formula claims to make skin healthier and trouble-free. It contains lecithin, green tea, pine and mugwort extracts.

08. Witch’s Pouch Radiant Lolli Tint #1 Lolli Polli
2.5 g / Full size: 5 g || Estimated value: $7

Witch's Pouch Radiant Lolli Tint #1 Lolli Polli

This little lip tint is so cute! It’s a plumping product that is supposed to make lips look younger and more radiant. It leaves a nice stain on the lips, so even as the glossy effect fades away, the color is still left on your lips. The tiny size is great for carrying in my purse.

Total value for this box is $112.76. The total cost of the box was less than $30, so this was a great value. I wasn’t exceedingly happy about a couple of the repeats, but the bb cream and bubble cleanser definitely made up for any disappointment. These Memeboxes are a fantastic initial box for those that are a little hesitant to step away from American cosmetics. I would encourage you to give them a try!

  • Alli Smith

    I don’t currently subscribe to any makeup boxes, but I’ve been seeing a lot of them lately and they all look very interesting!

    • You should try one! They’re like a little gift to yourself each month and some of them are only $10. 🙂

  • Modern June

    I get an ipsy box now but this one seems like a big step up!

    • Ipsy was the first subscription I tried, then I started branching out. I found Memebox early on, when they released their 2nd box. At first, it was sort of a novelty thing–Korean cosmetics–but I really enjoy the products and continue to buy.

  • Crystal

    I am a sub addict. Seriously! But I haven’t tried Memeboxes yet. I get Popsugar, FFF, BB5, BB, and Ipsy.

    • Wow! As of now, I buy the Memeboxes when I want, and sub to Ipsy and BB. Thinking of adding Sample Society and BB5. I tried Glossybox and wasn’t a fan.

  • This looks like a really fun box…

    • Their boxes always seem to have a nice mix of products, which I appreciate.

  • Havent heard of these boxes before but man do i love subscription boxes services since i always find goodies within

    • I love subscription boxes, too. Always a good value for the price!

  • Nichole C

    I used to love Birch Box! This one looks fun too!

    • I just started getting Birchbox last month. Ipsy was my first subscription, but I’m trying to branch out a little.
